Title: Artist in Residence - General Manager - Illinois Shakespeare Festival 2026 Department: School of Theatre, Dance, and Film Campus Location: Normal, IL Job Summary: The General Manager for the Illinois Shakespeare Festival works with the management team to organize and execute the daily operations of the Festival while at Ewing Manor. This position is a customer-facing representative during all Festival functions who works to ensure an efficient and smooth-running Festival. Supervises Company Management and Front of House staff (excluding box office), including a House Manager and Concessions/Merchandise Manager. With Front of House staff, must complete First Aid/CPR Training prior to the start of the Festival performances and pass any certification necessary.
