Job Overview: This role serves as a key resource for interpreting and applying environmental, fire, and building codes and regulations across a wide range of client projects. The engineer/specialist is responsible for researching and resolving complex technical inquiries, ensuring compliance, and supporting project teams with accurate, actionable information. Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities: - Investigate and respond to technical questions related to environmental compliance, fire codes, and engineering specifications. - Locate and interpret drawings, codes, exemptions, and regulatory language to support project decisions. - Review reports and plans (e.g., design recommendation packages, contractor requirements packages, permit application pages, state plans, SPCC plans) for accuracy in asset identification and code application. - Communicate directly with regulators to clarify and discuss compliance matters. - Communicate directly with client, project managers and junior staff on project details Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in civil/environmental engineering, or related degree required - Professional Engineer (PE) license (PE registration in any state, registrat...
