This Opportunity POWER Engineers, Member of WSP, is currently initiating a search for a Senior Transmission Planner for our Denver, CO office. This position will also offer remote opportunities to candidates in Fort Worth, TX, Orlando, FL, Portland, OR, Overland Park, KS, Minneapolis, MN and Richmond, VA . Be involved in projects with our Electrical Studies, SCADA, and Protection (ESSP) team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our clients' objectives and solves their challenges. This individual will be responsible for interfacing with other engineers in the preparation of computer-based models and performing power system studies on utility transmission systems and industrial/commercial electrical power systems including: feasibility studies, system impact studies, reactive compensation studies, protective relay settings, critical clearing time, stability (transient & dynamic), long/short range planning studies, short circuit, load flow, motor starting, power factor correction, and other related studies.
