Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Registration/Admission Specialist to join our front-line patient access team. This role is responsible for greeting patients, verifying insurance, collecting co-pays, and accurately entering patient information to ensure a smooth and efficient registration process. Pay Range: $22.46 per hour. PRN as needed. Responsible for pre-admitting and admitting patients to the hospital, either during a face-to-face interview or over the phone, by gathering demographic and financial information. This position is responsible for verifying insurance benefits, providing estimates for services, checking Medicare medical necessity, and collecting money at time of service. Requirements: High school diploma or GED required. One year of general office work experience is required.
