Description Job Description – Project Manager: Job Title: Project Manager: Department/Business Unit: Operations Reports To: Operations Manager FLSA Status: Exempt Salary: Based on Merit Purpose of Job: Provide overall management direction for one or more electrical construction projects (up to $10 million) and develop new business opportunities related to specific clients, client groups, industries, or geographic areas. Primary Responsibilities: - Provide primary project leadership for assigned projects in partnership with the designated project superintendent. - Evaluate contractual scope of work and organize staffing for key project positions through regional department heads, subordinate project managers, general superintendents, and related personnel. - Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within GNS corporate policy. - Initiate and maintain relationships with prime clients and A/E contacts to coordinate scheduling activities and facilitate successful construction operations. - Negotiate, prepare, and issue work orders to subcontractors on assigned projects. - Monitor and control project development through administrative oversight of th...
