Heat Treater / Furnace Operator - 3rd Shift

Description SUMMARY: The Furnace Operator is directly responsible to operate equipment necessary to perform requirements of the furnace. Requirements: ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Responsible for set up and prepare machines according to daily production schedules - Prepare equipment and ensure furnace settings are accurate - Monitor shift operation of machinery, adjusting settings as necessary - Load and unload setups, breakdowns, and operating equipment - Operate related equipment, such as cranes, forklifts, and power tools when required - Follow router directions along with initial and date all pertinent information required - Maintain accurate logs and monitor equipment to ensure it is producing the proper output - Perform housekeeping duties to ensure a safe and clean workplace - Use personal protective equipment as required by the job, including but not limited to the wearing of safety vest, gloves, and eye protection - Perform duties safely, responsibly, and proficiently, observing and complying with all safety and health rules (OSHA, MTI, and SDS Standards), including safe operation of all equipment - Reports all accidents to supervisor immediately - Co-ordina...
