Director of People SUMMARY: The Director of People is responsible for the administration and management of the People Department functions. The Director of People will ensure the management of Human Resource Department with a pro-active approach and gracious attitude; effectively mentoring, coaching and developing the People Team and participating as a pro-active business partner that is responsible for providing daily support of the Company's objectives, mission and values. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Major areas of responsibility/ management include, but are not limited to: - Oversee recruitment, compensation/benefits, and employee/labor relations - Coach and advise management on all HR related issues - Develop and administer policies and programs which allow associates to maximize their contribution to the resort’s operations - Participate in strategic planning and budgeting activities - Provide leadership and employee relations support to all associates - Responsible for performance management and salary review process - Ensure compliance with all federal and state employment and labor laws - Translate business priorities into property Human Resources strategies, plans and actions.
