Job Overview As a member of our Protection & Control Engineering Services Team, you will be responsible for creating substation drawing packages including one-line drawings, three-line drawings, DC schematics, wiring diagrams, cable schedules, component layouts, electrical plans, and detailed assembly drawings that will be drafted using AutoCAD® and MicroStation. Our P&C Engineering Services teams also perform fault analysis and coordination studies, SCADA settings, along with developing settings for most station relays. #LI-CH1 A Day In The Life: What will help you thrive in this role? - Interpret customer specifications and provide a design which meets all requirements - Understand the theories and fundamentals of electrical circuits and related components - Check/yellow line protection and control wiring diagrams to schematic diagrams - Create control panel and field equipment wiring diagrams from schematic diagrams - Create project specific protection and control schematic diagrams from standard customer schematics - Create protection and control schematic diagrams from a 1-Line diagram - Update/revise existing customer substation legacy Brownfield schematic and wiring diagrams...
