SAR Academy, a Modern Orthodox, co-educational day school in Riverdale, NY is now accepting applications for Ivrit Teachers for the 2026-2027 school year in the Middle School (grades 6-8). Qualifications: Exhibits strong ability to build connections with Middle School students and to develop an atmosphere of mutual respect Displays effective collaborative skills: Understands principles of social, emotional and cognitive development Demonstrates an ability to teach Middle School students the skills of Ivrit language and communication -- listening, writing, reading and speaking Understand the study of Hebrew as a tool not only of communication, but also of developing students’ minds and thinking, as they learn the structure and logic of another language.
