We’re looking for a Planning & Consenting Solicitor , to join our Legal and Company Secretariat team. This is a pivotal role supporting our Major Infrastructure programme, including landmark projects like the Lincs and Fens Reservoirs. You’ll provide expert planning consent and other statutory consenting legal advice, drawing upon your direct experience advising applicant s for Development Consent Order s (DCO s ) What will you be doing as a Planning and Consenting Solicitor? Advising on consenting strategy for authorising proposed development works. Advising on a ll aspects of required applications for DCOs for major infrastructure projects under the Planning Act 2008, including the required scope of powers, application documentation, interface with interested parties and landowners and Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), Habitats Regulations Assessment (HRA ) and Water Framework Directive issues, amongst other aspects.
