Job Description Summary The GE HVDC projects are worldwide. As per the role, the candidate will travel to customer sites on a regular basis. The individual will coordinate valve site activities and will report to the HVDC office on progress and results. The role demands excellent coordination and communication skills and close attention to detail. As Valve Site Lead Engineer, the candidate will report to the Valve Site and Test Team Leader. Execute the delivery of the project regarding the converter valve Installation, Pre-commissioning, and maintenance. From the capture of the requirements to the handover to customer, as per budget and within schedule. Responsibilities: Lead/Supervise team of field engineers/technicians in the field and carry out assembly, repair and maintenance, pre-commissioning work on-site at our customers' sites, or in our workshops/test facilities. Lead mechanical work and electrical testing work done on site. Participate in the work of updating technical documentation related to the site activities.
