Job description

- Responsible undertaking works as instructed by the Plumbing Principal in respect to the operation, maintenance and repair of plumbing systems within the Knightsbridge store, including all pipework systems (excluding refrigeration and cooling towers), associated pumps, strainers, pressurisation units, heat exchangers, valves, storage tanks, public health and rain water systems, sump pumps, sprinkler / hydrant systems, sanitary-ware and associated fittings. - As instructed, maintain water treatment / conditioning to LTHW and Chilled water systems - Undertake planned and reactive maintenance either: directly, or through specialist contractors; and complete associated administration. - Prioritise allocated workload and resources as appropriate to any risk to the business operation, especially where concurrent problems occur. - Undertake small works when called upon to decommission or install replacement equipment to a high calibre workmanship. - Possess any necessary knowledge of legislation and ensure compliance. - Assist colleagues on other mechanical duties as required by the Engineering department. - React to emergencies when called upon - Escalate any problems which cannot be re...
