Description Main Purpose: The Electrician Helper is responsible for assisting with installing, maintaining and repairing electrical systems and equipment in a manufacturing environment. This role ensures the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems within generator enclosures, troubleshooting electrical issues and performing preventative maintenance. Essential Functions: - Assist Electricians with installing, troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems, wiring and equipment - Help read and interpret blueprints, schematics and electrical diagrams - Support conduit work by measuring, cutting, threading, preparing, bending and installing - Pull wire and wire circuits, including 4-way switch configurations, under the direction of a licensed Electrician - Help stage and organize materials, tools and equipment needed for daily tasks - Assist in the integration of transformers and connection of 3-phase motors - Provide support in working around 208V and 480V systems - Assist in the performance of routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems - Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and company safety policies - Assist with diagnosing...
