Position Summary: The Senior Accountant will maintain accounting records and prepare financial statements and analysis. CPA Required. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Prepares, examines, and analyzes accounting records, monthly financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards - Maintains and reconciles all assigned general ledger accounts - Monitors and generates reports to management of cash balances for multiple affiliated entities - Prepares journal entries and maintains and reconciles various general ledger accounts to ensure accurate monthly processes - Analyzes business operations, trends, costs and revenues to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice - Completes assigned tasks in the monthly close process - Examines processes used to generate the journal entries that create the monthly financial statements, and confirms accuracy, completeness and relevancy of the elements used - Develops, maintains an...
