RAYUS Radiology is looking for a Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a Nurse Practitioner - Contrast Coverage/Arthrogram Injections, you will be responsible for screening and preparing patients for their procedure and administering and monitoring medications for patients in an outpatient setting. Participates in all aspects of patient care as indicated. Radiology Arthrogram Joint injection experience required. This is a temporary (PRN) position working day shifts. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (85%) Patient Care (10%) Administrative Duties (5%) Performs related work as assigned - Explains procedures and treatments to patient to gain cooperation, understanding, and reduce apprehension - Performs Pre MRI arthrogram injection - Screens patient prior to procedure for any precautions or contra-indications and for MRI safety - Reviews patient history and complete appropriate consents forms as needed - Administers prescribed medications and treatments (i.e. contrasts) in accordance with approved standa...
