Role Summary and Role Description: As a Senior Software Development Engineer (Server Side) for GlobalLink Technical Operations Team, the ideal candidate will : - Provide second/third level support for GlobalLink Applications - Build next generation infrastructure to support new initiatives - Quickly diagnose and resolve issues across multiple functional areas (server, network, database, storage) - Provide operational support for Security and Compliance Management - Execute Change Management tasks in Production, UAT and other lower environments - Contribute towards on-going migration tasks in the areas of Maintainability, Performance, and High Availability - Monitor system performance and make recommendations on improvements - Work closely with Engineering and Development teams in order to deliver a highly available and resilient system - Participate in on-call rotation and perform weekend maintenance tasks Experience/Skills Required: Total 18+ years of IT experience: - Scripting/Programming experience (Python, BASH, Ansible, Terraform) - Strong familiarity with web servers (specifically Apache/NGINX) - Linux system administration knowledge (preferably RedHat) - Knowledge of network...
