Department: 02270 HC Specialty Center MOB 550 Redmond Rd - Ophthalmology Status: Full time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hou rs Per Week: 40 Schedule Details/Additional Information: M-F Pay Range: $21.85 - $32.80 Job Summary: The Ophthalmic Assistant performs a variety of clinical duties necessary to the daily operations of the Eye Center. Primary duties include, but are not limited to conducting the patient intake process concerning chief complaint, medical history, and medication reconciliation; performing a variety of ophthalmic tests and measurements in preparation of the provider's assessment; and maintaining infection control standards by sterilizing surgical instruments and cleaning the equipment and exam rooms regularly. Requirements: 1. High School diploma or GED required 2. Ophthalmic Certification (COA/COT) preferred 3. Previous experience in the ophthalmic/optometric field preferred but not required 4.
