We are working closely alongside a local authority in Swindon t o assist with the appointment of a Participation and Access to Records Worker on a 3 - months contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Rate of Pay : £15.06- £20.23 per hour Summary: The Participation and Access to Records Worker is a dual-purpose role designed to bridge the gap between statutory data requirements and compassionate social care support. You will act as the primary point of contact for care-experienced adults and those who have received Children's Social Care services as they navigate the often emotional process of requesting their personal files.Your mission is to ensure that Subject Access Requests (SAR) and Freedom of Information (FOI) requests are handled within legal timescales, while simultaneously providing bespoke wellbeing support to applicants. Furthermore, you will drive the council's "Participation Agenda" by developing a scheme of lived-experience Voice Ambassadors to ensure the voices of children, young people, and families directly influence service design and decision-making.
