The Center’s services are provided to Virginia’s youth toward the goal of improvement in their lives and development of their fullest potential. The Mission of the CCCA Nursing Department is to skillfully assess children for medical and mental health concerns when admitted for acute psychiatric care. The Registered Nurse responsibility is to report accurate information to the psychiatrist, who will then give direction to the RNs regarding appropriate medication and treatment regime to put into place for the patient.
