Job Summary: The Medical Assistant, Residency Clinics works under the supervision of the Registered Nurse (RN) and/or physician in the clinic environment to provide developmentally appropriate and age-specific (neonatal, infant, toddler, preschooler, school age, adolescent, young adult, middle adult, later adult) direct and indirect patient care within designated scope of practice; assists with ensuring efficient clinic operation; floats among clinics as requested; utilizes interpersonal skills to maximize customer service in a manner that supports the I CARE initiative, excellence in customer service, safe patient care, and professionalism; contributes to a work environment of caring and cooperation among a culturally diverse workforce and patient population. Performs other duties as needed. Education and Experience: Successful completion of an approved Certified Medical Assistant program or other health care training certificate. Minimum one year of previous clinical experience preferred.
