This posting is to build a candidate pool, should the opening(s) become available.** *This position will be located in New Orleans, LA* JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE: This position works in conjunction with other engineering disciplines within Transmission Engineering. This position supports the substation design teams and our customers in construction, asset management, reliability, and throughout Transmission. The Senior Lead Engineer position focuses on contractor oversight and technical subject matter expertise in an additional area. Contractor oversight includes developing and implementing strategy for contractor excellence, oversight of contracted portfolio of work, and serving as point of contact for contractor interface. It is expected that the Senior Lead Engineer is already a subject matter expert or has the ability to develop expertise in an additional area which may include compliance, Entergy standards, industry standards, major equipment, or significant industry engagement.
