Description The Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Manhattan office, is seeking to hire a full-time transdiagnostic psychologist to join our established team of clinicians and provide excellent care using evidence based and targeted intervention treatment methods. Knowledge of underlying factors that contribute to mental health disorders in children and adolescents is required. The position emphasizes a transdiagnostic approach, targeting core cognitive, emotional, and behavioral processes across disorders, and requires collaboration across specialty areas within a multidisciplinary team. Candidates are expected to have experience in conducting diagnostic evaluations for a wide range of childhood disorders, including anxiety, mood, and disruptive behavior disorders. Experience providing DBT with adolescents on a comprehensive team (including providing individual therapy, facilitating Multi-Family Skills and/or Graduate Groups, and phone coaching) is also required.
