X-ray Manufacturing Technician, Level II

Job description

Position Purpose/Summary: The Manufacturing Technician II performs the failure analysis for final assembly and final test failures of X-ray tubes and high-voltage power supplies by performing product diagnostics to determine the root cause. This role requires expertise in the ability to recommend corrective actions in collaboration with design, manufacturing, and quality teams. This role is scheduled to fill the 2nd shift (2-10 p.m.). Essential Duties: - Perform the failure analysis process for X-ray tube and power supply failures from the final assembly and final test processes. - Identify and confirm root causes of failures using structured problem-solving methodologies (Fault Tree Analysis, DOE, 8D). - Assist and support production operators with troubleshooting and diagnostic testing. - Provide technical troubleshooting assistance to the production supervisor and maintenance team. - Document test procedures and results to identify systemic issues in products and equipment. - Support scrap cost-reduction initiatives through process and design improvements. - Collaborate with the maintenance technicians to track and resolve equipment issues. - Maintain and calibrate test equipmen...
