Permanency Support Worker

Job description

The Role Permanency Support Workers are vital members of the Permanency Support Program, reporting to the Team Leader and working collaboratively with Case Managers and Clinical staff to achieve safe, stable and sustainable permanent placements for children and young people. In this role, you will work directly with children, young people, siblings, foster carers, birth families and significant others to strengthen placement stability and support positive outcomes. This is a part-time position (minimum 30 hours per fortnight) and includes: Shifts will occur both within and outside core business hours, including critical transition times in the afternoon and evening.
