Substation Lead Training & Quality Engineer

Job description

The Opportunity Ulteig is currently seeking two highly organized and engaged Training and Quality Engineers to lead training efforts and implement quality improvements for the Substation Engineering department. The Substation Training & Quality Engineer is responsible for providing development, oversight, and maintenance of the substation training program. They are also responsible for supporting the development and maintenance of processes and best practices around quality. This role is ultimately intended to ensure our team has the proper training, process, and tools to excel in their roles and advance their careers here at Ulteig. What You'll Do: - Provide QC & project mentoring on substation projects. - Submit Quality Reports as part of QC. - Review Quality Escapes and identify root cause for quality errors. - Participate on Training Committee team and action items to support internal training efforts. - Communicate department-wide training and quality initiatives. - Collaborate with department leadership on training needs and quality process related improvements. - Create and maintain training curriculum within Ulteig University. - Engage in the lessons learned process and ide...
