The Senior Recruiter – Engineering is an onsite position responsible for spearheading recruitment efforts for the department’s candidate pipeline and recruiting needs. This role will play a pivotal role in identifying, processing, and tracking candidates in support of Austal USA's Design and Engineering Team, as well as helping to manage our Designer Apprenticeship Program. Collaborating closely with teammates in Talent Acquisition and Workforce Development —as well as industry partners—the Senior Recruiter will focus on sourcing top talent for development initiatives while driving external recruitment strategies to meet program needs effectively. REPORTS TO: Talent Acquisition Manager / Director of Talent Acquisition AUTHORITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES: - Lead with a culture based on people and processes. - Create and maintain effective communication channels with hiring managers and business leadership to 1) timely relay status of recruitment activities; and 2) educate on best practices in sourcing, legal requirements, interviewing skills, developmental programs and other related topics. - Partner with Leadership team and HR Partners to identify appropriate steps for internal moves in...
