Department: (OC) WADS DEHS - Inorganic & Nuclear Chemistry Job Description: Responsibilities Health Research, Inc. is seeking a Research Scientist I to work within the Wadsworth Center’s Division of Environmental Health Sciences. One of the Division’s goals is to assess human exposure to toxic chemicals (e.g., heavy metals, PFAS, pesticides, PAHs) that are present in the air we breathe, the food we eat, and the water we drink. The incumbent in this position will support the Trace Element Laboratory’s Emergency Response Program by analyzing clinical samples using established protocols for inorganic chemicals using techniques based on triple-quadrupole inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS/MS).
