Job Purpose: Weatherford has a great opportunity for a Manufacturing Buyer to join the Team in Ortona, Italy on a Fixed Term Contract basis to cover maternity leave. The Manufacturing Buyer will support the sourcing and purchasing of technical goods and services, ensuring they meet quality specifications and business requirements. Expertise in technical specifications and supplier evaluation is essential for maintaining an efficient supply chain and supporting successful customer fulfillment. Responsibilities: Safety & Compliance - Uphold company's HSE policies, compliance standards, and Rules to Live By while prioritizing quality, health, safety, and environmental protection. Technical Procurement: - Develop comprehensive understanding of technical specifications for products/services. - Raise purchase requisitions for Manufacturing. - Source parts/services to required specifications. - Utilize competitive bidding to target best quality, delivery, and total cost.
