Job description

Job Title: QC Analytical Chemist Summary: The post holder will work as part of the Quality Control team to manage the analytical laboratory facility. Taking ownership for the efficient running of the Analytical Laboratory ensuring it fulfils the requirements of regulatory bodies, customers and other departments within the Company. Supporting all equipment IOPQ activities, introduction of new laboratory equipment and software applications. This role is responsible for all aspects of the analytical laboratory (product and raw materials testing and release, non-routine testing, documentation review, methods validation, housekeeping, reagents preparation, stock take and ordering etc). There will be interaction with internal and external stakeholders to advise in analytical chemistry. Part of this role will be to support/cover duties in QC laboratory in regards to testing, release of the final product and raw materials, documentation review, housekeeping, sampling, reagent preparation etc and will involve working closely with the onsite Validation Specialist.
