Description The University of New Haven is seeking applications for a non-tenure-track, Practitioner in Residence position in the Department of Psychology’s Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC) Program beginning in Fall 2022. This is a full-time position whose primary responsibilities will consist of teaching in the counselor education program. The successful applicant for this position will teach selected graduate courses in counselor education and contribute actively and effectively to student growth, service, and program development. With a remote working option, the successful candidate will teach a 18-24-credit load of CMHC courses during the academic year. Responsibilities will also include student advisement, course development and maintenance activities, recruitment and retention activities, attending and assisting at on-campus residencies, synchronous meeting requirements, and supporting program/departmental projects and accreditation activities.
