Position Summary: The Central Billing Clerk is responsible for transmitting all electronic claims, completes all paper claims, monitors all accounts receivable and payable, monitors authorizations, works closely with each Registrar to ensure compliance with standards. Duties and Responsibilities: - Transmit all electronic claims within established time frames. - Completes all paper billing claims within established timeframes. - Monitors assigned accounts receivable to ensure compliance with the Financial Policy. - Collects required data and prepares reports for outside funding sources within established timeframes. - Works closely with each Registrar to ensure compliance with Financial Policies. - Monitors payer trends and communicates them to CBO Manager within established timeframes. - Monitors the process for efficiency and recommends improvements as needed to the CBO Manager - Communicates with various Private Insurance Companies and resolves billing disputes - Responds in a professional and courteous manner to client billing questions within established time frames. - Completes daily Avatar Central Billing reports. - Accurately enters payments and denial information into Avat...
