Senior Distribution Manager - FTC Department: Commercial: Employment Type: Fixed Term Contract: Location: London: Description: The UK & Ireland Commercial team is responsible for managing and growing UKTV & BBC Studios’ revenue streams and getting the best content on-screen. Reporting into UKTV’s Chief Commercial Officer, it includes four teams: Distribution, Advertising, Ventures, and Content Partnerships & Sales. The Distribution team negotiates and manages deals with TV platforms to secure carriage of UKTV’s channels, the BBC channels in Ireland, UKTV’s FAST channels, the U app, and our branded pay VOD services. We also negotiate deals with technology suppliers to distribute our channels on Freeview, satellite, and streaming platforms.
