ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES: - Perform aircraft engine/component troubleshooting using customer/OEM instructions. - Use engine test equipment as provided by the customer to troubleshoot and analyze engine operation in the aircraft. - Troubleshoot fuel leaks, remove and replace aircraft fuel cells - Provide guidance to mechanics within the work center or special work group by sharing technical knowledge to enhance accomplishment of assigned tasks. - Evaluate condition of engine and dynamic components requiring inspections as a result of operation outside of established parameters. - Assist in the removal and replacement of aircraft engines utilizing appropriate support equipment. - Work Orders in NALCOMIS/OOMA, Standard Navy Support Equipment, Lifts, Stands, Hoists. Qualifications: Experience: - Must have successfully completed approved course or training as required by Company, State/Local Govt, DOD, regulation/Instruction. - Personnel shall be qualified according to their field of expertise and the level of maintenance assigned, i.e., “O” or “I” level. - Must possess or be able to obtain a secret clearance. - Must be a US citizen and completed high school or equivalent....
