Role: Senior Cleaner Department: Estates & Facilities Management: Location: Carbrook, Sheffield: Salary: £25,242 - £27,204 (pro rata) Hours: 27: Contract Type: Permanent: We have 7 vacancies available for the role of Senior Cleaner, In this role you will take the lead on the day-to-day cleaning, and oversee the cleaning operatives within your given location, ensuring the given allocation of weekly hours are covered . Key responsibilities: To ensure your teams clean in any specified area as instructed by the Cleaning Supervisor in accordance with the specification for the Building Cleaning Services and in line with all safety and security measures in operation. Monitor and organise cover for sickness. Monitor the performance, and welfare of your teams. Carry out site quality inspections and quality control, with the Cleaning Supervisors. Provide emergency cover and transport in cases of staff shortages, within your geographical area Provide cover for cleaning within your team. Maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness is essential, at all times. Must understand how to handle cleaning products safely, including harsh chemicals.
