DP World are recruiting for a skilled and dedicated Health & Safety Officer to join our growing team in Coventry. This role is to prevent accidents, injuries, and work-related illnesses in the workplace. They have a large number of duties to ensure that the workplace maintains high standards of Health & Safety. About The Role: How you will contribute: - Development and maintenance of the company health and safety management systems and procedures. - Responsible for the co-coordination of risk assessment activities including record keeping - Accident investigation activates including record keeping - Analysis of risk assessment, near miss and accident data to presenting to the senior management team. - Chairing health and safety reps meetings, presenting data, recording actions and maintaining the progress on the actions. - Assessment of training activities - company health and safety procedures - Working with the operational teams to improve the working environment, reducing the impacts to the employee from operational activities. - Conducting internal audits, workplace inspections and health & safety tours to the prescribed frequency - Design and develop written health and safety...
