Associate Business Data Product Owner

Job description

The Associate Data Product Owner drives the business value of data assets by shaping and executing the road map for a specific data domain (e.g., Customer, Financial, Operational). Acting as the bridge between business stakeholders and data delivery teams, the Data Product Owner ensures that data products align with strategic priorities and deliver measurable outcomes. Position Responsibilities: Partner with Data Owners, Stewards and Consumers to create data products that are easy to discover, consume and use for multiple stakeholders’ use cases. Serve as Business Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for business and analytics teams. Translate business requirements into actionable data use cases outlined in the Data Catalog Facilitate and participate in requirements sessions to capture requirements as per the stakeholders' needs Guide creation of mapping documents that covers business rules, data lineage, ensures data quality and accuracy. Data Product Ownership: Be the primary contact point for the data delivery team on assigned data products by providing requirements to the development team.
