Facility Maintenance Technician Lead - AGL

Job description

Summary Under general supervision, this position provides overall maintenance support for complex facilities with offices, laboratories, computers, warehouses, and other special-purpose spaces. Work assignments are given in terms of program areas of responsibility. The incumbent performs preventive maintenance and general repairs on building operating systems (e.g., Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning (HVAC); electrical; plumbing; other mechanical; and lighting). Incumbent also performs general carpentry and repair of facility structures. The Incumbent also receives non-supervisory guidance from the site-designated Government Point of Contact. Performance is evaluated in terms of effectiveness in completing assigned preventative maintenance and inspection services, successful completion of assigned work order projects and fostering and maintaining constructive and positive work relationships with all staff and management. The pay rate for this position is $42.46/hour.
