Position Details: The Department of Physics and Astronomy in the College of Natural and Health Sciences at The University of Tampa invites applications for the position of part-time instructor for the General Physics Laboratory courses. The Department of Physics and Astronomy is a vibrant and growing group of faculty, instructors, and students, and we are looking for qualified candidates to join our team. Responsibilities will include: 1. Teach one or more 2-hour General Physics Laboratories per week for a semester. Experiments follow the syllabus and laboratory manual prepared by the physics faculty. 2. Explain to the students the experiments and expectations for each lab. 3. Assist students with apparatus set-up and data collection. 4. Set up and take down laboratory equipment as appropriate. 5. Provide meeting time for students. 6.
