Position Overview: Solid Power, Inc. is seeking a Senior Process Mechanical Engineer to join our talented team working to revolutionize the battery industry through the development of next-generation, materials for all solid-state rechargeable batteries. This position will be a key member of the Electrolyte Technologies team for the transition of Solid Power’s current electrolyte production technology to mass production. The Senior Process Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for the acceptance testing, commissioning, startup, and supporting maintaining operation of new and existing powder production equipment. This individual will develop preventative maintenance protocols/turnover plans, spare parts requirements, and assist with the specification and install of new production equipment.
