Job description

Purpose and Scope: On the Kennedy Propellants and Life Support Services (KPLSS II) program on Kennedy Space Center FL, the Configuration Management Specialist ensures effective hardware (HW) and software (SW) configuration and data management in compliance with program contractual requirements. This role maintains control and accountability of configuration baselines, supports change management across development and sustainment cycles, and upholds the integrity of delivered products and documentation. Essential Responsibilities: Execute Configuration Management Processes: Establish and maintain baseline control for all HW and SW configuration items, conducting analyses of design changes Perform CM activities, including identification, control, verification, and status accounting for systems and equipment, ensuring adherence to contractual and organizational requirements. Change Implementation Support: Implement changes to engineering documents for assigned programs and contribute to the adoption of common processes across functional teams.
