Early Career Ports and Marine Engineer

This Opportunity WSP USA is seeking an Early Career Ports and Marine Engineer based out of our Seattle, WA office. Provides engineering support to other technical staff, engineers, and project managers for the development, design, construction, and or inspection of structures and facilities for port, marine, and intermodal rail terminal projects in the public and private sector; these facilities may include piers, wharves, port and upland marine terminals, seawalls, dry docks, marinas and other nearshore/offshore facilities. Delivers work products at a level of quality that meets or exceeds acceptable industry standards for design, safety, and functionality. Your Impact: - With minimal supervision, assist with collecting, compiling, and analyzing data from the physical work site, survey data, technical reports and drawings, and or other data matrices for project development, design, and construction. - Assist with the development of project design requirements, while incorporating marine-practice engineering standards and specifications. - Assist with identification of project site, design and construction related risks and providing input on mitigation activities. - Write technica...
