Department: 05570 AMG Greenfield - Audiology Status: Part time Benefits Eligible: No Hou rs Per Week: 0 Schedule Details/Additional Information: Monday-Friday hours may vary from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm Pay Range: $22.90 - $34.35 Major Responsibilities: - Assists with patients using appropriate techniques and procedures to perform minor hearing aid repairs, cleanings and programming. Sends hearing aids out for difficult or extensive repair. Orders new hearing aids for patients as directed by audiologist. - Assists audiologist in direct patient care as needed per site. - Communicates with audiologist and other members of the health care team. Documents and communicates accurate and timely information regarding patient questions and needs. - Performs occupational health hearing tests and counseling per site requirements. - Provides office support. May include, but not limited to the following: Scheduling appointments, organizing/preparing exam rooms, cleaning, stocking, ordering supplies, checking equipment, managing referrals and prior authorizations and processing work queues. - Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the pati...
