POSITION SUMMARY: Victim Advocate will provide compassionate support and advocacy for MMIP victims of crimes & families of missing persons. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Educate the community on MMIP violent/victim crimes Aid victims in areas of crisis intervention, support, education/prevention, treatment, and referrals Conduct victim assistance workshops, seminars, presentations, and meetings with law enforcement personnel, investigative agency victim specialists, federal, state, tribal, and local officials, and members of the community Generates victim crime statistics and data collection on MMIP Generates victim-related statistical and activity reports from Tribal, State, and Federal agencies Promotes cultural oriented preventati...
