Purpose of the Position: The Principal Research Engineer will perform research and provide subject matter expertise in the areas of model based systems engineering (MBSE) and military systems engineering. Duties/Responsibilities: - Perform research and provide subject matter expertise in the areas of model based systems engineering (MBSE) and military systems engineering. - Define workforce development strategy with focus on MBSE skills and application. - Serve as lead and mentor entry- and junior-level employees on MBSE and how it can be integrated into other digital engineering concepts Minimum Requirements: •15+ years engineering lead experience in military aviation and/or missile systems. - Ph.D. with 114+ months (9.5 years) of full-time work experience, (of which should include 5+ years engineering management in the area of model based systems engineering (MBSE), or a professional equivalent combination of education and years of experience. - US citizenship is required Desired Qualifications: - Ph.D. or professional equivalent with 120+ months (10+ years) of full-time work experience. • 20+ years engineering lead experience in military aviation and/or missile systems. - MBSE i...
