Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group (MAPMG) invites applications for the position of Research Scientist III (Infectious Disease Epidemiology/Health Services Research) , which is a senior position equivalent to an academic full professor, to join the Mid-Atlantic Permanente Research Institute (MAPRI). A research emphasis on HIV or other viruses, or other communicable diseases including sexually transmitted infections, is preferred. This is a full-time position based in our regional office located in Capitol Hill, Washington D.C. with a hybrid work model . Reporting to the Director of Research Science, the Research Scientist III will design and implement major investigator-initiated health services and epidemiology-related research projects in the area of infectious diseases. You will also secure external funding through federal, foundation, or industry grants, and disseminate findings through peer-reviewed publications and conference presentations.
