DESCRIPTION OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES: - Analyze new business and change applications according to criteria established from the Underwriting Rules & Guidelines to assist Underwriting with the acceptance, modification or declination of coverage. - Obtain information from various sources and evaluate policy account, when required, to ensure accurate data for insurance coverage. - Accept, cancel or reject applications and/or refer policies to Underwriting for review, as necessary. - Make sound decisions related to policy coverage and policy terminations. - Communicate effectively and professionally with internal personnel, agency force, members, and/or other interested parties in both verbal and written form. - Organize and prioritize duties, paying close attention to detail, while meeting established timeframes. - Code and/or enter data accurately into various GFB systems for multiple lines of business. - Review and/or enter data accurately into pertinent application software.
