General Information The Cowichan Valley Regional District is now accepting applications for a temporary summer Supported Child Care Worker III position at the Shawnigan Lake Community Centre in the South Cowichan Recreation Division within the Community Services Department. Reporting to the Manager, Cowichan Lake Recreation and supervised by the Playschool Teacher the Supported Child Care Worker provides personal care to children (child) aged three to five years old and supports/facilitates the integration of the child into playschool and/or a community program. This position may also have a reporting relationship to an external agency and may provide input to or participate on the team responsible for determining the child’s care requirements.
