The Salvation Army Midland Division Corps in Jacksonville, IL, is looking for an Unhoused Street Outreach Coordinator! This position is responsible for facilitate outreach, assessments, and services to individuals living in an unhoused environment in Jacksonville, IL. This is a part-time, 20 hour a week position, non-exempt position $20.00 per hour. 1124 Wall Street, Jacksonville, IL Essential Functions: - Conduct onsite and offsite outreach to individuals experiencing homelessness to obtain key demographic data, individual histories, and intent data, to help create an ongoing inventory of unhoused individuals and encampment locations with the intent to help facilitate larger community response. - Creatively and actively build rapport with individuals experiencing homelessness with the intent to bridge services. - Maintain accurate, timely, and secure records of client interactions in a Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) and any additional case management system used within community. - Recruit and maintain a volunteer outreach team to assist in offsite ministries to the unhoused. - Assist in the training and ongoing education of volunteers working within street outreach...
