Building Operator 3 Regular Full-Time 35 hours per week; 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Required to work weekends and/or shift rotations as scheduled to meet the operational needs of the Gallery, including statutory holidays and overtime as required or assigned. Required to be on-call, respond to after-hours emergencies, and participate in the Emergency Response Team. Salary Range: $68,595 – $85,685 per annum The Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO) is currently seeking a Building Operator with a tradesperson/millwright skillset and a strong mechanical aptitude to join our Plant Operations team. Under the direction of the Manager, Plant Operations, the incumbent will maintain stable environmental conditions throughout the Gallery for the preservation and safe storage of the collection. They will troubleshoot and repair building-related issues, including but not limited to mechanical, electrical, architectural, plumbing, life safety, elevator, steam, and hot-water boiler systems, as well as their respective auxiliary equipment.
