Job DetailsJob Location: Village School - North Haven, CT 06473Position Type: Per DiemACES is seeking a long-term substitute for a Speech and Language Pathologist Assistant to work with students with a wide range of communication disorders in our Village School program. Position begins March 30th and ends June 24th. Join a dynamic related services team within ACES' schools. ACES is committed to mentoring and providing professional development for staff to facilitate and encourage staff to gain knowledge and skills to best serve students. Candidates with experience working with low incident populations (i.e. autism, multiple disability, social/behavioral/emotional challenges) are encouraged to apply. Strong candidates will possess excellent oral and written communication skills, strong collaboration skills, and successful, previous experience within a school setting. Job responsibilities include providing direct and/or consultative services in a variety of scenarios, according to the requirements of the IEP.
